That’s quite a list Bonnie Barton…I can’t answer all the questions, but I’ve tried my best…
If you could pick only one decade of music to listen to for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Definitely the 1960s…from early rock and roll...through the folk and jazz revivals…flower power and Hendrix…the Beatles and the Beach Boys…Dylan and the Stones…and some of the greatest songs ever written.
It’s not even close…the 60s for me!
What is your greatest fashion or hairstyle regret?
High waisted bell bottom jeans circa 1975…there one picture of me wearing them which makes me cringe, although you can tell I thought I looked really cool at the time…
Are you a Universal, Disney World, or Six Flags person? Pick only one, please. And share why (if you wish).
Disney…but only because I’ve never been to any of the others. Currently desperately trying to find an excuse to visit Harry Potter World, though…
What saying or slogan would you banish forevermore?
“Don’t bring me problems, bring me solutions”…invariably what idiots say, in my experience…
Do you believe in soulmates — for yourself specifically and/or in general?
Yes…but then I am a hopeless romantic…
Who is the best James Bond?
As a Scot, I’ve got to say Connery. The older I get the more I sound like him too…minus the lisp…
Although I like watching Roger Moore the most.
If you were a Peanuts character, who would you be?
Don’t really know that cartoon, sorry. Probably whoever the sensible, if slightly boring, one is. I’d be Hermione in Harry Potter, for example…
What is your favorite pre-1980 movie?
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s”…no question, and I’ll brook no argument. Audrey Hepburn…the finest movie theme song of all-time…the wonderful cinematography…the very cleaned-up Truman Capote story…I love it all…
If you could switch with any Medium writer (only for Medium purposes, not the other areas of your life), who would you pick?
With my teeny tiny Medium community, I’m not sure I know any other writer well enough to make an assessment.
What is your greatest musical guilty pleasure? (Song or musician/band.)
Got to be the Village People. Not trendy, but they always get me on my feet and feeling on top of the world.
That’s the way I roll…thanks for the invitation to participate, Bonnie!
