I’m with you on Kool and the Gang, Bonnie…saw them in London some time in the mid-80s when they were opening for someone else. I don’t think anyone was there to see them specifically, but 2 songs in they had thousands of people on their feet dancing around.

One of the greatest live shows I’ve seen…and one of the least expected as they were generally dismissed as…shock horror… “just a disco act”. Definitely under-rated!
