When you hear the name “Springfield” in a musical context, you probably think of Dusty. That’s my first reaction too.

But there’s another very important Springfield in a musical context, Dusty’s brother Tom. And although he’s been largely forgotten through the mists of time, Tom Springfield was responsible for some of the best-selling records of the 1960s.
