Big Yellow Taxi — Joni Mitchell

Despite having some of the most famous lines in popular music, “Big Yellow Taxi” wasn’t a huge hit for Joni Mitchell on its release in 1970. A group called The Neighborhood recorded a cover which just made it into the Billboard Top 30, and Joni Mitchell herself reached Number 11 in the UK with her own recording.
